Frequently Asked Questions
Using Renderpeople products enables you to take advantage of the benefits of human 3D models without losing the brilliance of 2D cut-out people. They fit into every 3D lighting situation, are visible in reflections and throw realistic shadows. Moreover, you can place them anywhere in your 3D environment without worrying about scale and perspective. You won’t have any of those advantaged with 2D cut-out people.
Yes, we do. Please contact us in order to get your personal quote. We will try our best to fit our products to your individual needs. Did you have a look at our Digital Human project? This may give you a great impression of what we can do.
Yes, in general you can print our Posed People. However, due to the highly detailed structure of our models we cannot guarantee that every 3D printer or material will print the models properly.
My 3D scene is very slow due to the 8K high-resolution textures. What can I do?
Indeed, huge amounts of high-res textures can clutter your system’s memory and thereby slow down your performance intensively. Therefore, we provide a 3ds Max plug-in for resizing textures. You can download it here for free.
The licensing for our Renderpeople products includes that customers are allowed to use the data for rendering still images and animations for commercial or private purposes, such as video production, broadcasting, print, movies, advertising, illustrations and presentations.

The Renderpeople Resizer is a plug-in for 3ds Max. High-resolution textures, e.g. the 8K textures that we hand out with our Renderpeople 3D models, give a huge advantage in terms of quality and sharpness. However, you do not always need such high resolutions for objects in the middle- or background of your 3D scenes. The Renderpeople Resizer plug-in can resize and relink hundreds of textures in your 3D scene within only a couple of seconds and with only a few mouse clicks.
Yes, the Renderpeople Resizer plug-in is free to download and to use for everybody.
No, the Resizer plug-in can resize textures connected to any 3D objects in your scene, regardless of whether they are Renderpeople products or not.
We always try to improve our service and the quality of our products. So please feel free to send us your feedback on the plug-in via mail at info@renderpeople.com. Of course, we will think about providing the plug-in for other 3D applications, if there is enough positive feedback. Right now, only a 3ds Max version is available.
Please have a look at the official plug-in’s user manual. You can download it right here.
